The Basics

  • If you decide to purchase our bacon, we've got several categories of products:
    • Bacon of the Month
      • Heritage Breed Pork Bacon: You can order by the pound, by the 3 lb variety box, or by the 1/4, 1/2, and full slab, all offered as one-time orders and the Box of the Month as a one-time order or recurring subscription
        • This is our premium pork bacon and starts at approximately $8.50/lb for a full slab
      • Wild Boar Bacon: You can order by the pound, by the 3 lb variety box, or by the 1/4 and 1/2 slab, all offered as one-time orders and the Box of the Month as a one-time order or recurring subscription
        • This is our premium wild boar bacon and starts at approximately $12.50/lb for a half slab
      • Angus Beef Bacon: You can order by the pound, by the 3 lb variety box, or by the 1/2 and full slab, with all offered as one-time orders and the Box of the Month as a one-time order or recurring subscription
        • This is pasture raised, 100% grass fed USDA Prime Angus beef. We offer bacon made from the brisket and from the navel, it starts at approximately $14/lb and $17/lb, respectively, for an unsliced full slab
      • Wagyu Navel Beef Bacon: You can order by the pound, by the 3 lb variety box, or by the 1/2 and full slab, with all offered as one-time orders and the Box of the Month as a one-time order or recurring subscription
        • This is pasture raised, 100% grass fed premium American Wagyu beef. It starts at approximately $18/lb for an unsliced full slab
      • Bison Bacon: You can order by the pound, by the 3 lb variety box, or by the 1/2 and full slab, with all offered as one-time orders and the Box of the Month as a one-time order or recurring subscription
        • This is pasture raised, 100% grass fed American Bison. We offer bacon made from the brisket and it starts at approximately $14/lb for an unsliced full slab
      • Country Cured Bacon: You can order by the sliced pound, unsliced 1/4, 1/2, or full slab as a one-time order
        • This is our premium pork bacon cured the old school, traditional way your great-grandfather made bacon, using just salt and sugar. Pricing starts at approximately $10/lb for an unsliced full slab.
    • Super Sampler: You can order a sliced Super Sampler or a slab Super Sampler, and both will offer the variety you select in each one of our meats. The Super Sampler by the Pound is a total of 6 lbs of sliced bacon, all the one flavor you select. The Super Sampler by the Slab is a total of 6 slabs of bacon, all the one flavor you select.
    • Gift Cards: These range from $5-200
    • Jerky: We make it with our pasture raised pork, double smoke it, and season it with a mix of black pepper and maple sugar
    • Pre-mixed cures: We offer a selection of our cures so you can make our bacon at home

      Bacon of the Month

      We make and ship our bacon once a week and ship to anywhere within the US. We place our pork/boar/beef/bison orders with our suppliers on Monday each week and normally ship out the finished product via 2-3 day shipping about ~3-5 weeks later (~4-6 weeks later for the Country Cured bacon), depending on when we receive our meat order from the suppliers and start the bacon production process. If you order a subscription, you will be billed at the time of purchase and your renewal charge will be billed on the same day of the renewal month.

      **Note: Since we order our meat fresh from our suppliers every time we start a new batch, sometimes there are delays on their end that take them approximately an additional week or even longer for them to ship the meat to us than normal, so our production times sometimes take longer as a result, up to 4-6 weeks**

      Shipping

      We offer several standard and expedited shipping options for you to choose from at checkout, ranging from USPS Priority Mail to UPS Next Day. Most of our boxes are relatively small, but heavy for their size, so shipping is not cheap. We don't ship nearly as much as big retailers do, so while our shipping prices are substantially cheaper than if you were to go to the post office or UPS store and ship the box yourself, our shipping prices can't touch those of the big retailers.

      We've seen at least one shipping price hike per year from each of our shipping partners since we started, and saw two price hikes last year, so while our shipping price has climbed over the years, it's still much cheaper than the retail shipping price at a post office or UPS store!
